"Roasty, Minty or Toasty?"

Growing up... I loved candy.
Over the years I learned to love my body.

I just wanted to RAVE about these oh so delicious goodies. As I was walking down the organic aisle at Wegman's I spotted some healthy tea bars that I thought I might try..as I began reaching for one I immediately spotted right next to it a box containing the oh so famous candy bar Vegans rave about..Crispy Cat!!! I began freaking out like a little kid in atoy store and immediately grabbed and tossed one in my cart. Made by Tree Huggin' Treats these organic candy bars are sold in three different flavors: Roasted Peanut, Mint Coconut and Toasted Almond. I chose the mint coconut..if I ever wanted a bar that contained almost all of my most favorite flavors in one...this would be it!!; Mint, Coconut and Chocolate..plus in my pre-vegan life I was addicted to Almond Joys so somehwere deep down inside I was HOPING...No PRAYING these would have a similar taste...

I carefully opened the wrapper along the edge, I cut the bar evenly into 5 pieces turning my bar into a 5 servings, low calorie, sweet tooth satisfying, mini dessert, took one piece..bit into it...OH MY..aaahhhh...GREAT..NO! PERFECT! Top every bite with a toasted almond and you have yourself a Vegan Almond Joy! I was doing the dance once again pleased to find one more reason to be an extremely Proud Vegan who does NOT have to sacrifice flavor and sanity for lifestyle.

SO I have to rave one more time..for anyone, Vegan or Non-Vegan who is craving for a Candy Bar that is not ONLY delicious but healthy..grab a Crispy Cat and blissfully indulge...mmmmm...ahhhhhh.
